After the Berlin Wall came down people that used to live behind the Iron Curtain rejected totalitarian communism but did rarely know what kind of society to create. To facilitate the political process towards building a democratic society the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation commissioned a study guide, encouraging debate on freedom and democracy.
